Abstract
This project explores “play” as a creative and meaningful approach to communication in nonprofit work. As a Marketing and Development Intern at Overcomers International Fellowship Dream Center, I share stories of men rebuilding their lives after addiction and hardship, using creativity to bridge struggle and hope. Through storytelling, campaigns, and engagement, I have learned that communication can foster empathy, dignity, and connection. This experience has reshaped my understanding of play as an intentional, faith-driven practice. It reflects my growth as a communicator and my commitment to using creativity in the service of others and supporting transformational change.
