Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine the most recent writings of Edward Schillebeeckx, O.P. on ministry in the light of the nineteenth century Liturgical Movement, in conjunction with J.A. Mohler, a theologian of the nineteenth century, and in view of liturgical needs and problems today.
