Abstract

As members of a Christian community we often mouth the words of ancient creeds, "I believe," or "We believe." We hear ourselves saying, "resurrection of the dead." Are these mere words? Do they carry a message? Or, are they words for a primitive belief'? Is contemporary society too sophisticated for such language? Or, can they strike to the heart and not just the mind? To attempt answers for questions such as these will be the purpose of our study here.
