Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present the life and accomplishments of Pope Alexander VI and to explore the accuracy of the historical analysis of this material. The accomplishments of Alexander VI in the area of Church and State have for years been overshadowed by his personal life. This overshadowing of his accomplishments has presented historical research with the difficulty of obtaining accurate primary sources and has thus affected current research.
