Abstract
This Paper focuses his reflections on the mystery of the Cross of Christ which sums up in depth his passion, his death and his resurrection, and which also reflects the culmination of the unconditional love of God the Father in his Son Jesus for humankind: “For us men and for our salvation He came down from Heaven… Crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, He suffered his passion and was buried”, affirms the Council of Nicaea-Constantinople. It is in this act of Redemption that the faith of the Church is aligned, which is mandated (Mt 28:19-20) to celebrate it and to spread the Hope of salvation and the new life of Christ by the proclamation of the Good News of the Gospel to all creatures. The author of this paper wants to revive the faith of his readers by inviting them to contemplate the Cross of Christ and to experience his love, his forgiveness, his tenderness and his grace, so that in them, the life of Christ becomes a source of life for all humanity, and especially for all those who lose the hope of the Kingdom of God.
