Abstract
Today one of the challenging dilemmas in Christian debate is liberating the believing but exploited people in the under-developed countries with the secularized and greedy developed countries. This paper compares the theology of Latin American with the Apostle Paul's theme of freedom in Galatians 5:13 to show their harmony in understanding the slavery of love. This paper is important because becoming a slave of love, meaning becoming a slave of justice, is not obvious here in Paul's writing.
