Submission Guidelines:
Students and graduates of Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary are eligible to submit written works and artwork to Obsculta provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted. Written work should be submitted by the Obsculta Submission Form. Written submissions (graduate papers, integration seminar papers, excerpts from theses, other papers written for classes, poetry, and prose works) must be no longer than 25 pages, 12-point Times New Roman, and double spaced. Submissions must follow the Chicago Manual of Style (18th ed.).
Rights for Authors and CSB and SJU Digital Commons
Writers, poets, photographers, and artists contributing to CSB and SJU Digital Commons retain full rights to their work and need not obtain permission from the School of Theology and Seminary for reproduction.
Attribution and Usage Policies
Materials appearing in CSB and SJU Digital Commons are published under the terms of the open access Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license and may be re-published/posted in any medium without asking for permission, with the following conditions: * BY: Attribution must be given to the author/creator, linking back to the original source (Obsculta) and stating this CC license. * NC: Only noncommercial use of the material is permitted. Noncommercial means not primarily intended for or directed towards commercial advantage or monetary compensation. * ND: No derivatives or adaptations of the material are permitted. * 4.0 International: Applies internationally.
