Abstract
How did the LGBTQ rights movement emerge and evolve in Minnesota and the US? Join the Tedeger-Berg Society for a conversation with Tom Trisko, a pioneering participant in the Minnesota movement. Tom and his husband John have advocated for LGBTQ rights since the 1960s and were one of three couples who sued the state of Minnesota in 2008 for the right to marry. Hear Tom’s story and learn how it fits into the broader history of the LGBTQ rights movement.
