Establishing Operational Foundations in a Faculty-Led Clinic: Workflow Design, Role Development, and Service Planning
Abstract
Creating a faculty-led clinic workflow, detailed job descriptions, and a clear list of services established a strong operational foundation for the Central MN faculty-led clinic’s launch. By aligning these core functions with community needs from day one, the clinic positioned itself to serve its population thoughtfully and effectively. Importantly, these resources were designed in flexible, editable formats, empowering clinic leaders and supervising faculty to adjust procedures and roles as the clinic and community evolved.
