Abstract

My “This I Believe Essay” from my Honors 120D course reflects on the transformative experience I earned working in customer service. Despite the daily hardships, low salary, and myriad mistakes, I gained key life skills such as empathy, stress management, and effective communication. I contend that everyone should work a job like this to build patience, understanding, and respect for others.
