Abstract

This paper explores the state of the question of liturgical inculturation particularly on its origins, methods and processes. During the years following Vatican II, articles and books on liturgical inculturation were published, conferences and study weeks were held and the people were alerted to the possible effects of inculturation. This paper reviews some of the issues related to the present day attempts at liturgical inculturation. It also deals particularly an attempt to apply liturgical inculturation at a particular local church which is always the locus of liturgical inculturation.
