Abstract
Dr. Elizabeth Johnson, Distinguished Professor of Theology at Fordham University, will explore the idea that God creates by empowering the evolving world of species to make itself, all the while accompanying this world through its suffering and emergence into endless forms most beautiful. This lecture is co-sponsored by the Nicholas and Bernice Reuter Professorship in Science and Religion, The Saint John’s School of Theology/Seminary, and the Koch Chair in Catholic Thought and Culture.
