Abstract
July 6-7, 2012 is the 200 year anniversary of Beethoven's letter to the "Immortal Beloved" and the questions surrounding her identity as revealed through George Marek's research and analysis by Willem Ibes of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 28 dedicated to Baroness Dorothea von Ertmann.
Beethoven's "Dorothea-Caecilia" sonata transcribed as cantata for three voices on the name Dorothea (and its permutations) performed in condensed form.
