Abstract
This event will focus on the many intersections of social, racial, and environmental justice that Martin Luther King Jr. and others fought for and another pressing, salient topic: climate change. Many consider racial justice one of the most important movements of the latter half of the 20th century. This event will connect this still-evolving movement with what has become one of the most important movements of today: the climate justice movement.
