Abstract

Abbot Primate Notker Wolf is the highest ranking member of the Confederation of Benedictines worldwide. In business vernacular he is the "CEO" of the Benedictines, a global enterprise with more than 1,000 monasteries and 25,000 religious sisters and brothers throughout the world. An expert on leadership and co-author of The Art of Leadership (Liturgical Press, 2013), Abbot Primate Wolf is frequently sought out by religious and business communities. He shares principles from his book about what it takes to be an effective leader in business, politics, school, family, and religious life.
