Abstract
Saint John's University and the College of St. Benedict hosted Kirt Wilson, Associate Professor of Rhetoric in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University. Professor Wilson is a nationally recognized expert in the rhetoric of civil rights movements and race in public culture. Professor Wilson delivered a keynote address as the centerpiece of our institution’s observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day in 2012.
