Abstract

Dr. Liam Oliver Lair is a feminist scholar with a PhD in Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. His teaching and research are rooted in feminist studies with a specific focus sexuality, trans subjectivities, disability, and race. His research and teaching focus on the intersections of gender, racism, and ableism, and how we might begin to create more livable futures for historically marginalized individuals and communities. He has worked with faculty, staff, and students to create safe and affirming spaces for trans/GNC and queer students at each of his previous institutions, and this is work he continues at his current position at West Chester University.
