Abstract
Agent based modelling is an approach to modelling the behavior of systems. The best known examples have provided insight into the dynamics of economic behavior, epidemics, animal behavior and even traffic flow. I will introduce the basics of ABM, with examples, and hope to also stimulate some discussion about how this tool might be used pedagogically.
