Abstract
Our talk will center on feminism in Latin America as a struggle for human rights and social justice. The issues we will cover include: feminism, politics, culture, race and social structure. We will explain these issues through case studies of Women in revolutions in Cuba and Nicaragua and Bolivian women's organizations. We will also provide information about what we in the United States can do to further the cause of feminism in Latin America.
