Abstract
This session will include a screening of an original ethnographic documentary about men with physical disabilities. Together, we will explore the tensions imposed by male socialization generally and those mitigated by physical disability specifically. Come prepared to excavate your own assumptions about manhood and how influences such as media and schooling promote particular views of masculine identity.
