Abstract
The Dutch oven was important part of history of the United States; from the hearth in Colonial homes, to wagon trains and chuckwagons; from early explorers like Jim Bridger to mountain men like Osborne Russell, and it continues to be an important part of camping and field trips today. Join Larry and Johanna Davis as they share some secrets of Dutch oven cooking and, perhaps even a few samples.
