Abstract
The article offers the author's insight on walking in a virgin forest in northern Minnesota known as the Lost Forty with her daughter, which made her pay attention to the truth from the wilderness. She mentions seeing a dead owl which looks healthy, sharing the lesson she learned from the dead creature which was not affected by doubt or influenced by restlessness, which made her think of her own restlessness that often leaves her thrashing.
