Abstract
Confessional Bible study, reading Scripture as if our lives depended on it, and responding to Bible texts artfully, through practice and worship, have power to help us grow together in Christ. An integrated and mature Christian life, both personal and congregational, has components of centeredness and openness to the other. In this lecture and discussion, I want to explore how Scripture brings us together and opens us up to the world that God loves. What does integration and formation around the text look like in an increasingly diverse church?
