Abstract

Following the 2005 Synod of Bishops dealing with the Eucharist, Pope Benedict XVI penned an apostolic exhortation titled The Sacrament of Charity (2007). This lecture will begin with this document (SC) and discuss the Eucharist as a mystery to be believed, a mystery to be celebrated, and a mystery to be lived. Michael will then move to the recent writings of Pope Francis to determine if any kind of trajectory is detected regarding the Eucharist.
