Abstract
Grasping the historical evolution of this feast, the liturgical texts of the Missal of Trent and the Missal of Paul VI will shed light on the significance of this feast and how it relates to the life of Christian persons. In sum, the liturgical history and liturgical texts will be sources which will reflect how the feast of the Trinity is connected to what all liturgy celebrates: the paschal mystery of Jesus Christ lived out by the Spirit-filled Church.
