Abstract

In this paper, my purpose is two-fold: to analyze the structure and theology of four eucharistic prayers in terms of their Trinitarian language and to make a comparative study. The four eucharistic prayer that I will use are:

1. The Anaphora of Saint Basil of Caesarea

2. The Liturgy of Saint Basil

3. Eucharistic Prayer IV of the Roman Sacramentary

4. A Common Eucharistic Prayer
