Abstract

This series of artwork explores the theme of exterior landscapes. The series contains 5 pairings in the form of diptychs. The photos were taken on a spring break trip to Miami, Florida in 2022. Each of these pairings has a cohesiveness created by a matching line that passes from one image into the other. These lines were created by horizon lines, tides, and shorelines. The pairing and connection between the two images asks the viewer to compare two different moments in time.
