The apprehension of God’s Beauty is universal because we are all made to know God. Through Beauty, which we perceive with our spiritual senses, God incites eros in us, drawing us to love God more, whether or not we know God by his name.
Coleman, Mary Abigail, "The Transcendence of the Apprehension of Beauty" (2017). School of Theology and Seminary Graduate Papers/Theses. 1912.
