Abstract
Drawing from Elie Wiesel’s Night, Christian tradition, and historical movements of resilience in the United States and Africa, William Orbih's reflects on hope as a word, a virtue, a story, a song, and ultimately, the very person of Christ. Hope is the creative word of God, the foundation of faith, the anchor of our souls. It is both the promise and fulfillment of God’s love. In a world marked by pain and injustice, the Church proclaims: The Word is Hope.
