Abstract
In this article I will explore Benedit XVI’s beliefs about liturgy as well as the liturgical changes he has made as pope. Liturgy has become a controversial topic, so also the views and actions of Benedict XVI. Some claim that the pope is undoing the Second Vatican Council and forty-five years of progress in implementing the Council. Others claim that he is working to implement faithfully the vision of the Second Vatican Council, which means undoing the mistakes and misinterpretations of the past forty-five years and going back to what the Council really said. The truth is probably somewhere in between.
