Song Writing and Critical Theory
Abstract
I will present an illustrated lecture (part concert) showing how the song can be a vehicle for political and theoretical commentary. I plan to perform several original songs--perhaps working with a group of other musicians. I will comment on how the songs were written and recorded. Here is a link to my webpage on song writing.
