Abstract

Prof. Noreen Herzfeld (Theology and Computer Science) recently returned from a five month assignment, teaching as a Fulbright Scholar in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). This was her sixth trip to BiH. She will tell stories of the people she has met there, the difficult issues that still face this country and others in the Balkans, and her experiences as a woman teaching in Muslim, Catholic, and secular institutions there.
